FPCG Education Programs

Everyone is welcome and encouraged to take advantage of the Christian Education opportunities at First Presbyterian Church of Granbury. Sunday School Classes are offered for all ages each Sunday morning from 10-10:45 in Fellowship Hall, across from the sanctuary.

Children and Youth Sunday Morning Classes

Kindergarten through 6th grade students meet with Nancy Bennett.  The current curriculum is "One Room Sunday School."  These classes meet September through May in concurrence with the school calendar.

Jr. and Sr. High meet throughout the year (including summer months) with Chad Presley for fellowship.

Adult Sunday Morning Classes

Jack Powell leads discussion on various books of the Bible. This Sunday School Class likes to be known as "The Aches and Pains" class.

Dolores Adams leads book discussions.  The current book being  discussed is by James Moore, entitled: "How Will You Be Remembered at the End of the Day?" This class meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Other Classes

Youth meet from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. each Thursday night for supper, Bible study, and discussion.

The Presbyterian Women's Anne Howell Bible Study Circle meets the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 a.m.  Jeanell Morris is the teacher for this class.

The Pastor's Bible Study classes are held at Pecan Plantation Clubhouse on Thursdays at 2 p.m.  Classes are six-week sessions.  Check the calendar for dates.
