The Rainbow Room of Hood and Somervell Counties
Is dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to abused and neglected children under the care of Child Protective Services, Our Community Our Kids and CASA.
First Presbyterian Church provides items to stock the room through a “Sack Drive” every April during Child Abuse Prevention Month and stock the caseworker’s break room. The congregation has a “back to school” shoe-card drive each June for foster children. To learn more, click here.

At FPC Granbury, serving others is an important expression of our faith. Adults have numerous opportunities to make a difference throughout the year.
Our twice-yearly Rummage Sales provide opportunities for volunteers to participate in every aspect of this community mission. Each Thanksgiving, we collect turkeys and all the traditional meal fixings to help provide holiday dinners for families in our community. During Advent, our Christmas Giving Tree invites members to purchase gifts that bring joy to local families while sharing the love of Christ.
Throughout the summer, we also support children in foster care by providing shoes and back-to-school supplies, helping them begin the school year with confidence and care.
