Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women (PW) is for every woman in our church. If you are a woman who belongs to our Presbyterian congregation, you are already a Presbyterian Woman!
PW is a welcoming community where women gather to grow in faith, serve others, build meaningful friendships, and discover the many ways God is calling us to live out our faith. PW meet regularly in small groups (sometimes called Circles) in a relaxed, flexible, and welcoming environment. Each group is unique, allowing women to share their gifts, interests, and passions while being united by a common purpose.
There are many faithful ways to be Presbyterian Women. Some women and groups may feel especially drawn to Bible study, mission, fellowship, or advocacy, while others embrace all of these opportunities. However you choose to participate, there is a place for you here.
PW Activities Offer Opportunities To:
Grow in Faith
Explore Scripture, deepen your relationship with God, and nurture your spiritual life through Bible study, prayer, reflection, and conversation.
Serve Through Mission
Make a difference in our community and around the world through fundraising, volunteering, service projects, and support of local and global mission efforts.
Build Community Through Fellowship
Enjoy meaningful friendships and connections through shared meals, social events, informal gatherings, and time spent together.
Encourage Spiritual Growth
Support and encourage one another through prayer, personal reflection, faith conversations, and opportunities to grow together in a caring and supportive community.
Our PW Purpose
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
- to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study;
- to support the mission of the church worldwide;
- to work for justice and peace; and
- to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
Whether you are new to the church, looking to deepen your faith, eager to serve, or simply hoping to connect with other women, we invite you to join us. Come as you are, bring your gifts and your questions, and discover the joy of growing and serving together.
